What is LE LAB?
LE LAB is a solar pumping sizing application. Based on the water requirement and the project's characteristics, the application selects a suitable pump, sizes the photovoltaic array and estimates the water production month by month. Discover the application
Is it free?
Yes. You can size an installation for free and without sign-up. You get in particular the suitable pump, the solar array sizing, the installation diagram and the water production estimate throughout the year. LE LAB Pro adds the functions dedicated to professionals.
What is LE LAB Pro?
LE LAB Pro is the version for professionals who want to go further in their projects. It allows you in particular to adjust the solar array, size on the worst month, display climate data, access the detailed electrical configuration, generate reports, prepare quotes and find the technical documentation. LE LAB Pro can be tried free for 7 days.
Which brands are available?
LE LAB is multi-brand and currently includes LORENTZ and GRUNDFOS. The selection is made from the manufacturers' official performance curves in order to propose a pump suited to the project's characteristics.
What head and flow rate can LE LAB size?
Up to 450 metres of total head and 250 m³/h of flow depending on the head, with 271 pumps from multiple brands, from 0.3 to 232 kW. The covered range is published cell by cell in the functional coverage.
How is the production calculated?
LE LAB uses the performance of the pump and the photovoltaic array as well as 16 years of solar resource data. The application thus estimates the water production for each month of the year and identifies the most unfavourable month.
Which countries are available?
LE LAB currently covers 60 countries, through 156 cities that serve as solar reference points. If your city does not appear, select the one closest to your project: the calculation remains representative of the region. If your country is not yet covered, contact us to request that it be added.
